On July 29, 2023, students and professors from the Food & Science Department at Subbalakshmi Lakshmipathy College of  Science, a bamboo craft manufacturing company in Madurai, Tamil Nadu. The visit was an opportunity for the students to learn about the different processes involved in making bamboo products, as well as the sustainable benefits of using bamboo.
