American Biochemistry Students Visit Bamboo Crafts and Banana Fibre Manufacturing Unit

A group of American biochemistry students recently visited our bamboo crafts and banana fiber manufacturing unit in boys town near Pulluthu. The students were interested in learning more about the sustainable production of bamboo and banana fiber products.

Our team gave the students a tour of the manufacturing unit and explained the different processes involved in making bamboo and banana fiber products. The students were particularly interested in the process of weaving bamboo and banana fiber into mats, baskets, and other items.

The founder of our unit, Suthagar Selvaraj, gave the students a detailed explanation of the benefits of using bamboo and banana fiber. He explained that bamboo is a fast-growing plant that is very sustainable. Banana fiber is also a sustainable material that is strong and durable.

After the tour, the students went on a small trek to Naga Theertham, a sacred waterfall in Pulluthu. The students enjoyed the beautiful scenery and the refreshing waters of the waterfall.

The students were very impressed with our bamboo crafts and banana fiber manufacturing unit. They learned a lot about the sustainable production of these materials and they were inspired by the work that we are doing.

We are grateful to the American biochemistry students for visiting our unit. We hope that they will share their knowledge with others and help to promote the use of sustainable materials.
